Whatever the event, Acorn Medical Services can provide both male and female staff, fully trained in all aspects of pre-hospital care to support you, your staff and visitors.
Our treatment centre is fully equipped to deal with a wide range of on-site medical emergencies.
For larger events and in line with the recent changes in The Purple Guide which is now suggesting a Paramedic be required in addition to any First Responders, we have CQC registered industry partners who can provide a fully crewed response Ambulance to provide the best possible medical care.
Once we been instructed to provide cover to an event, we work closely with organisers and prepare an Event Medical Plan, which shows in detail what we are going to be doing during the event, and can be used in any subsequent discussions organisers have with their local SAG group, as it clearly demonstrates they are providing the best possible care for visitors, traders, staff & volunteers at the event.
All the work we do is undertaken in line with industry best practice, as well as working to the relevant sections (mainly Section 5) of The Purple Guide.
Following the endorsement by the Institute of Licensing Endorsement of the Purple Guide as the go-to guidance for outdoor events, all organisers are actively encouraged to sign up.

Our First Aid courses are designed to give you the skill and confidence to provide urgent care to someone with an injury or life threatening condition

We are a Qualsafe registered training centre and deliver the Emergency First Aid at Work course from as little as £65 per person.
